Membership
BMA is a member driven organization. Every event, activity, playgroup and Linkletter is made possible only by the volunteer efforts of our members. As a member, you will be asked to choose a committee to serve.
- Special Events Committee: events@brooksidemothers.org If you enjoy planning a party then you will want to be a part of our fun team. We plan and execute events for Halloween, Valentine’s Day, and Easter.
- Activities Committee: activities@brooksidemothers.org BMA has a number of activities each month. To suggest ideas or help with planning or hosting an event, select this committee.
- Linkletter Committee: linkletter@brooksidemothers.org We put together BMA’s online newsletter, The Linkletter.
- Care Committee: care@brooksidemothers.org We offer to make meals for our members upon the birth of a new baby, during a move, an illness, or a death in the family.
- Community Outreach Committee: community@brooksidemothers.org We help plan activities, fundraisers and donation drives that benefit a charity or community project.
- Membership Committee: membership@brooksidemothers.org Please help us to greet new members by attending new member activities and being a buddy (buddies will encourage new members to participate in playgroups and other activities).
- Working Moms Committee: workingmoms@brooksidemothers.org We plan activities for moms who work outside the home, either part-time or full-time.
- Babysitting Co-op: babysitting@brooksidemothers.org We earn and spend time, rather than money, exchanging babysitting services between members.
- Website: info@brooksidemothers.org Help troubleshoot the Website, email and Runmyclub.com admin for for BMA Committee members.
Membership Dues: $25/year
You will have access to the member-only area of our website as well as receive weekly emails containing all the details of BMAs activities, playgroups, parties, and membership information. You may participate in all BMA functions if you have selected one area to volunteer.
Guidelines & Statements:
Brookside Mothers Association is committed to a safe and nourishing environment for its members and members children. Because of this, it is expected that members will adopt a responsible decorum at all BMA events, activities, playgroups and meetings. Every BMA member is responsible for the actions of and the safety of their children. BMA hosts will provide the safest possible environment, but it is up to the parent to assure the safety of their children based upon the individual needs and abilities of their children. The BMA Community directory, or any BMA generated list (phone, e-mail or address), is for the use of the members only.
