Playgroups
Playgroups are now being organized by "seasons" to more accurately reflect the approximate birth date of the children in each group. We define the seasons as Winter beginning in January, Spring beginning in March, Summer beginning in June, and Fall beginning in September. Please feel free to try out any playgroup that you feel is age appropriate for your child; new participants are always welcome. ANYONE is welcome to start a new playgroup! BMA requests the you PLEASE RSVP, preferably by 9:00 a.m. the morning of the playgroup. This is important for both you and your hostess...preparations are necessary and plans can change! Also, please notify hostesses of any food allergies.
As a hostess, you should provide snacks and drinks for BMA members and children (please be considerate of allergy concerns) and be sure to make your home safe for small visitors. You may limit the number of attendees if you are not comfortable with a large group (first-come first-serve). If you are unable to host on your scheduled date, please contact your playgroup coordinator about find a backup hostess or location and leave a message on your voice-mail, if possible, with any new information.
